I argued with the doctor with my first the whole intirer time, the first ultra sound i had the ultra sound tech took an educated guess on ehat she thought how far along i was and we 100% agreed. My son was born 2 days after i said my due date was. I think the confussion was he was just measureing small.

What an asshat. As if you wouldn't know.. Haha. That's pretty much what happened with my boy. Still delivered when he should have, not when they thought.

I understand that I could have ovulated late and my Dr explained sperm can live for 7 days however I only had sex once in December.  So that would still only change my due date by a week not 3. What I am saying is I know when I had sex. And my Dr insisted I must have forgotten another time lol

That's what they are going by I got an ultra sound at what should have been 13 weeks 4 days and the baby was measuring 10 weeks 4 days. The issue is my husband is a co and works alot of over time and I am 100 percent positive of the only time in December we had sex.

Always go by the earliest ultrasound. It's the most accurate.

Doctors like to think they know better. It's just an "educated" guess anyhow. With my first the doctors always thought I was a week further along than I really was. As a last resort, switch doctors if you feel uncomfortable with this one's practices and opinions. Having a doc that trusts you and doesn't want to control your pregnancy is immensely better than one that believe they're a genius because their degree.
