Glucose Test

So I am just cerious what is good to eat before the test my doc said eat something little so I was wondering if one banana is okay?

I was also told with both my pregnancies not to eat after 10 pm except water so as not to risk a high level and then need to go for another. It probably depends on Dr.

I was told to eat as well. Just not anything sugary. You can have water and eggs and bacon. No toast as your body turns it in to sugar. Just don't put anything in your mouth after you drink the glucose drink. Good luck!

I was told not to eat anything at all past midnight. If you eat it could make your test results be high.

You only fast for the 3 hour one unless your doctor tells you not to eat for the regular 1 hour one they do first. Eat a breakfast high in protein like bacon and eggs. Stay away from sugars and carbs bc that's what the drink is so you need something to balance it out.

I was told not to drink or eat anything and I forgot and drank juice to take my meds in the morning so I was nervous it would mess uo my results, but nurse called today and said everything was great! I would suggest nothing.. lol
