so i was sooo stuck on the name jayden for my son who wil be born in  may im am caucasion and so is the father and 3 ppl at my work are like thats a "black" persons name!!! i was like omg that is soo rude to another race!! names do NOT go by race!! it doesnt matter if you are white or black or whatever u know.....i just thought it was so ignorant!

My name is Shanece and growing up when my sister would tell people she had a sister named Shanece they would always be like 'oh that's cool that you have a black sister!' Umm. I'm as white as they come! Lol I'm so pale and i have endless amounts of freckles and blue eyes!
People judge my fiancé and i for naming our son Olyver cuz its an ugly and snobbish name. Scr*w you! Olyver is a very handsome and old fashioned name! Neither of us have ever known an Olyver and we don't give two craps what anyone thinks!
And i wanted to name my daughter jayden :) beautiful name.

Im half black an live in the south an have never come across a black jayden lol people are fools,jaydens a cute name an even if they thought it was "black" whats it to them..not there baby.very ignorant of them to say or think.

i think its hard to put a name to race really like so many different races have so many different names you know....i also like ryan alot to....same with oliver and then another persons like thats such a old man name....like i cant win here!

I was also thinking of naming my baby jayden if its a boy braelyn if a girl.... I think its an adorable name i haven't had any racey comments about it. But I know how ppl are and cant believe how judgmental they are...

Ya I get the same stigma im going to name my son kendrick and everyone thinks of the rapper like im naming my son after the rapper lol and then ny baby will be Spanish native american irish swedish and Korean and kendrick is an irish name

I feel your pain! My daughter (white) will be named Tesla Nova. My mom insisted it was a "Mexican" name... first of all, it would be Spanish. Second, its an American scientist's last name... how rude is that, though? I mean really? My name is Brandi. Only Brandi I've ever met was black, so my mom is just ignorant and oblivious to her own prejudice contradictions...

I totally feel you! My stepdad is black, and my little brother is mixed and some old snobby woman had the nerve to ask me the other day "is your baby going to be of some other race too?" I was like "actually, yes. his daddy is spanish, thank you very much". People are so offensive!
