Watching child birth on tlc now I'm scared does it still hurt with a epidural I'm so scared of a c section

Ive had natural and epidurals. I personally prefer getting one. I was is extreme pain doing it natural and my doctor told me my blood pressure got so high I could of had a seisure. now when I have a baby she even say why go through all that pain? I like it because for me it took all the pain away and just felt like minor period cramps. Plus I can talk to my family like nothing and im not exahausted after. I plan on doing it again this time.

I know how u feel. i keep watchin clips and scaring myself. im due in a week and im petrified and keep lyin awake at nite worrying

I'm sorry but I watch those and some of the ladies seem like pansies lol. I didn't plan for my first to be natural no meds or anything but I survived and feel very proud. I know everyone is different but I don't know what made women think its not tough people been doing this forever with no drugs lol! Drugs or not you will be fine and have a beautiful baby to show for it. Focus on that and nothing else matters

I love love love the tlc shows bringing home baby, a baby story, make room for multiples, and I didn't know I was pregnant!. They are so cool. I have always been fascinated by child birth and babies.

I dont even go near the TLC channel. I just made up in my mind thst regardless if I like it or not , this baby is going to come out one end or the other. I dont want to freak myself out lol then anothrr thing I think about is there are girls 15 and 16 everyday having babies. So therefore me going on 23, I need to toughen up. Lol

i wouldnt know lol. o had the epidural, 4 extra shots of pain mediction and another epidural and still felt everything! i hope it works for you. good luck!

My friend had been sending me YouTube videos. VERY GRAPHIC ones of women giving birth so I'm scared too. But I want an epidural too. I'm sure we will both be ok. :)

yea its still hurts a bit but not nearly as bad as without it. and dont be scared, I was when they induced me 2 months ago as a ftm but it wasnt as bad as I scared myself into thinking it would be. the hardest part is the really long hrs contracting to dialate completely. in comparison the pushing hurts a little but is pretty short. (i was in labor 14 hrs and only pushed for 10 minutes).
