if you are having a normal menstrual you cannot be pregnant.  Have you been to see the doctor yet?  how did you know you were 6 weeks pregnant?  was it confirmed by a blood test or doctor?

Anytime you bleed in pregnancy you should contact your doctor. If the bleeding is bright red, with clots, and is painful especially in your lower back you could be having a miscarriage. Going to the ER won't prevent the miscarriage from happening. Once they start there's nothing to do about them.

OR it could be a hematoma or a bleed somewhere in the uterus. So definitely call your doctor and see what they want you to do.

If you are bleeding, that is a sign of a miscarriage.  Go to the emergency room!  Make sure everything is ok!
