weekly doc visits..

Anyone else started their weekly doctor visits?? lIll be 35 weeks tomorrow and I just went to the doctor, they did nothing at all...  measured my uterus, felt my legs for swelling and we was done.. am I the only one??  I feel like their is no point in wasting my time & gas to go every week if they are not really doing anything important..  I'm delivering at 39 weeks so I have about 4 weeks left.

You don't start weekly until 36 weeks. I only am now like I said bc of the scheduled cesarean bc I only have 5 weeks until then.

Ill be 34 weeks friday and Monday starts weekly appt fir us now bc we scheduled a repeat cesarean for 39 weeks. My ob didn't do much either she has,a lot of experience is very good with us and our toddler answers our questions wonderful but otherwise she's in and out lol measures me listens to baby and answers what we need and done. But every other appt we see our nurse and she'll sirens as much time with us and talk to as we want. But if your healthy and getting your questions answered there's nothing else for them to do. But it is important to go incase something changes. Like bp swelling, breech baby etc

They usually start checking for dilatation at 36 weeks and that's when they start seeing you weekly. Going to your doctors appointments are very important.
