this is my second pregnancy using the tracker. the first time it was a little bit more basic and didn't tell you if you gaining too much or too little. but i ignore what they have to say and just use it to see the chart effect of my weight change. see if its a steady rise or if there are dips or anything like that. the important thing is what your doctor says and how you are feeling.
i didn't find their bbt chart all that reliable either. so i would take their message with a grain of salt.
Kimejo. Exactly. How do they know what the Dr has suggested. It can be a terrifying thing to gain 5 lbs for some women. This isn't the time to diet yet I'm sure some ladies get scared and therefore will not eat what they need due to fear of getting to large.
I'm a plus size girl, not excessively so size 18/20. And I gained 70 with my first, 35 with my second and 15 with my 3rd....I am currently 11wk4days and have lost weight. My Dr says as a bigger girl if I can safely gain 20-25.....you are right though some women are going to see the 'exsessive' weight gain on the app and freak out....not cool. It should just let u track ur weight....bot give input.
Mine says the same thing but I didn't even start to gain weight until I was like 26 weeks so I say I'm just catching up
It says 7-12 lbs by 23 weeks. So stupid. This can be harmful for some women to think tht way. I wasn't big to start with some women are obese and should aim for 5 lbs the whole pregnancy. This weight tracker is horrible.
Sorry not 11 Weeks 6 Weeks but is still strange that it shows I could have gained between 6-12 pound, then says 12 is excessive got you.
Its weird that it says that because i'm 17w and have gained 8 pounds and it says I should have gained between 6 and12 pounds right now. so it says i'm on track and"normal" but i'm 11 Weeks behind you and have gained almost as much as you. Don't worry about it, its not excessive
It bothers me because I gained 90 lbs my first time. Tht is excessive!! My second I gained 27 lbs and he weighed 8! I'm so careful not to gain to much and for some people, me included, thinking you have gained to much can be a big hit on how we care for ourselves.
oh hun don't worry. i'm on 6 wks 4 days and I've gained like 7 lbs I was 157 went I went by the doc to confirm being prego and I weight myself last week and I was 164 ..
Thats not and i know what u mean i gained 2lbs and it says the same thing im almost 16weeks
