Usually yes I was told boy at 18 weeks went for a 3D ultrasound at 24 weeks and it was definitely a boy all of mine have been accurate my first I found out at 19 weeks, my second was 18 weeks, and this one was 18 weeks
I went for my 20 week scan( I'm 19 weeks though) and it was very clear to see I am having a boy!! It all depends on which way your baby is laid when you go :-) xx
Just remember no ultrasound is 100% when it comes to gender, that's why ur sono tech will probly say it looks like a girl or I think it's a boy.. cos they can be wrong, even at 30 odd weeks but yes usually 16-20 weeks is usually the most accurate :)
Last pregnancy I was told at 12 weeks I had a 60% chance I was having a boy . 18 weeks was told he was still a boy and had a 3D/4D done at 29 weeks and he was still a boy lol (: this pregnancy I knew at 12 weeks I was having a boy by blood work , got a 3D/4D done at 13 weeks and he was deff a boy and isn't afraid to show it lol .
Soley depends on how well your babies genitals can be seen. No tech should tell you theyre 100% sure if their not, but mine was very clearly a girl and i looked at it too to make sure and yep! Lol
People kinda make me more excited when they said they were told at 12weeks cause thats when i go back for my ultrasound july 9th hopefully ill find out a chance of having my second boy!!!
