Im 36 weeks and 1 cm dilated and ive been taking amoxicillin and I have a horrible yeast infection what is safe for me to cure it with ....I dont want it to harm my baby

& u don't have to insert the yogurt . You just rub it on your vagina the same way that u was rub the prescribed cream

My doctor prescribed clotrimazole . It worked wonders . Yogurt works as well, it helps soothe the area & is also supposed to make it go away.

Plain (NOT vanilla) organic yogurt spread on a tampon should do the trick. I believe Amoxicillin is alright to take during pregnancy, except it kills the good bacteria in your body as well as the bad. Yogurt is safe, unless your water is broken (in that case, nothing should be in the vagina) but even if you aren't comfortable with inserting it, eating an extra dose of it daily will help your body keep the yeast under control.
