what does ovulating feel like?

hi girls,  i have been closely watching my cycle for the last few months and still can't figure out what it feels like when i am ovulating?  is it like menstrual cramps?  pinching in the ovary region?  i hope this isn't a dumb question.  i know i am ovulating and know the day it happens but i don't know if the things i described is ovulating or gas or something else.  can you feel it as it's happening?

Not yet. I have a doctors appt. today. I think it will be too early to tell anything yet but who knows. Maybe I'll ask them to do blood work. I will let you know :-)

I don't get that slippery clear discharge that much.... sometimes I do but not alot... But I feel when I ovulate. I get cramps almost the same as Minor period cramps. and A stingy picky kinda pain on my right side. It last a few days.... and then 2 weeks later I get my period. This month we had sex 2 days that I thought I was ovulating so I will keep you updated to whether or not I get pregnant.

Not everyone can feel ovulation.  Some people do have cramps that are somewhat periodlike called middlschmerz (sp), but other than that and increased egg whitey discharge and a higher basal body temperature, there isn't much else to be able to tell.
