Pains(first pregnancy)

So I'm 4w3d and this is my first pregnancy. I've been having pains by my ovaries, usually on my left side. Sometimes it's not to bad but then other times it feels like I'm being stabbed..it usually only lasts a few minutes if not seconds. Is this normal?

Probably just your uterus growing. Im 7w5d and still getting some cramps, started around 5wks for me. If u have spotting with/after the cramps get checked out though
