i am 20 yrs old and on march 20th i had a miscarriage i was a month and a half into the pregnantcy. i bleed til the 26th and me and my husband started to try again on the 27th. It will take up to four weeks by doctors accounts for you to start your period after  the blood stops from your miscarriage, But you can get pregnant days after you stop bleeding. It all depends on your body and whether or not your trying to get pregnant again. Some doctors will tell you not to try for the first month but the reason behind this is because in the first month after you have a miscarriage you are most fertal to conceive. If you do not start after 6 weeks from the miscarriage i would talk to a doctor but dont get stressed out, things happen for a reason even if we dont understand and although a miscarriage is hard as i had to learned the hard way, you can still get pregnant again.

Wait I am confused.. Did you get your period or did you have a miscarriage? Do you mean you had one on March 1st?  Please clarify!

I am sorry to hear of your loss, but would love to give you comfort with my story.  I too had a m/c (well more than one in the past) recently on December 27th.  I found out I was pregnant only on Dec 22nd so I didn't know long with that one.  I was only about 4w2d when I miscarried.  I did a lot of reading and decided that since I wasn't that far along I couldn't see the harm in trying again right away.  I conceived 11 days later and am now 14w1d.  It worked even when some of the reading said not to try.  My sonographer said she was happy to hear that we didn't give up and tried again that soon! I have never gotten pregnant that fast before.  I have 3 living children and this is my 6th pregnancy.  all 3 of my boys took 4 months of trying preseed, opks, saliva monitoring, cervix checks, cm checks and temping to get pregnant, so to fall pregnant that fast after my m/c was a blessing! I say keep trying!  Again I am sorry for your loss.

I agree, that's confusing. But to help you out a little....I would say that since you are currently going through your miscarriage then that is why your face is breaking out, all the hormones are going a little crazy right now.
I've heard of some doctors saying to wait 3 months, some say less than that and others say to go ahead and try right away so it's completely up to you. After my miscarriage, I was lucky and got my next period right on time. I was just like you...about 5 weeks along. DH and I tried right away but didn't get pregnant until the 3rd month after.
I'm sorry for your loss.
