URGENT! Pain on right side of lower stomach, warm to the touch.

Just today I've been getting an annoying, poking pain on the right side of my lower abdomen. It's not sever, but it's there, and has been for a few hours. Also that area feels warm to the touch, as compared to the rest of my skin. By my own calculations, I am a little over 9 weeks pregnant (I have to guess because my last ultrasound was on friday and I wont be hearing from the radiologist till tuesday...) so I'm not sure if I was looking at a baby or not (the tech said she was not allowed to say anything about it.....?)
I immediately Googled my symptoms and am now afraid of an ectopic pregnancy...Could this new pain be a sign of ectopic pregnancy, or would they have told me if something was wrong right away? I've only had 2 blood tests so I'm not too sure of my levels were rising slowly or not (as it is also a sign). Hopefully I'm just over thinking things and worrying too much. PLEASE HELP!

I really hope it's just that and not something much more serious. Thank you very much for the reassurance.

Its very possible ur dates r off and thats why they were unable to see the fetus on the ultrasound. Thats actually extremely common. My friend had that happen to her just recently.    She ended up only being 6 wks and when she went back 2 wks later they were able to see the baby. Good luck and post an update when u find out. Hope everything works out!

Those first few sentences did calm my nerves a lot. Thank you :)
According to my blood tests I am pregnant. They just seem to be having trouble figuring out how far along I am, due to it being so early and not being able to see baby yet. That alone has me freaking out a little.
No bleeding or other pains at all, just the weird poking pain. If anything changes then I will definitely head to the hosp. Thanks so much!

If they gave u an ultrasound they would have been able to detect an ectopic pregnancy since its a risk they'd keep u to remove the pregnancy . Do u have an advice nurse u can call and explain ur symptoms too? Without knowing if ur pregnant its hard to say it could really be anything. Your not having bleeding right?? If it is a normal pregnancy there's a ton of weird pains ur going to experience. Round ligament pain, cramps, stretching,  ect. Im sorry im not much help but if it becomes severe dont hesitate to go to the hospital. The dr on staff would be able to see ur test results.
