If they do one now you will have to pay for it unless it's medically needed. If you go through the clinic/hospital most likely it is something that has to be scheduled ahead of time. They will probably make you wait until 20 weeks so they can measure baby & check the important things.
I doctor at the clinic/hospital. So the machine isn't in the room but its right there. I did not have an ultrasound appointment for my first appointment but asked for one and the ultrasound room was free so I got one. Also I am a little worried because I really haven't really felt anything at all! With my first born I felt her way way early
I got to c mines at 15wks and its a girl!! You can say you have nit felt the baby move that u usually feel flutters but no movement that you are just worried
Does your doctor have the equiptment in his office? My dr. has a mini-machine type thing that he can use to check with. But nothing that'd give you a positive gender reading like that. I had one at 16 weeks and 19 weeks but it was because I missed the dating one earlier. I would honestly just ask. Sometimes they can pull things off... other times they won't bother offering because insurance only covers so much.
I heard you can tell gender at 12 with a 3d ultrasound but I know my doc literally would not let me get one until 20 wks, it also depends some doctors do ultrasounds in their offices and others send you somewhere to get it done so either way I doubt you will get one tomorrow because your not scheduled but its something you can talk to your doc about!
