Anyone else??

I had my first + HPT last week, I'm 5 weeks as of yesterday. This morning I felt like I got my period, and there was bright red blood when I wiped. I have very mild cramps, not very much bleeding. Is this normal?? I just told my mom that I'm pregnant yesterday, and today is her birthday. Please don't let something bad happen today! :( I'm trying not to stress, but this is my first pregnancy.

Anyone else have this happen?

Light spotting can be totally normal, cramping is usually body changing internally . As long as it's not dark red or heavy bleeding you should be okay. Rest and drink lots of water if you continue to be concerned call a doctor. Even when everyone believes something is "normal" there can be circumstances where it's concerning.
