You can tell now when I wear regular clothes but I think I only look 5mons... we wear men's shirts and ties and a very long apron that I tie above my belly so I think I look heavy not pregnant in my uniform..
It's kinda more up scale so were never allowed in the back of kitchen and the bussers and hostess do all the side work and cleaning. Unless I have a rude table or something I don't feel too tired after work but I understand where you guys are coming from maybe ill try to have a talk with my boss and explain why I didn't tell him. Hopefully he will understand because I am a good employee and never complain like others I work with
In a few weeks you might need to slow down but seems like short days.
well that's good that they're helping you out, but one day soon you're probably going to "pop" out, I'm surprised that you haven't already, and once you do pop they'll know for sure lol
Yea my sister and a couple of her friends work there so they always run my food and stuff I rarely carry trays and the reason I didn't tell them is because I didn't want to be treated differently I didnt want them to give me a slow section or just treat me like I was helpless but I really need the job and Ive been making about 400 a week only working 4 to 5 days. Only working 3 and a half 4 hours max.
I'd tell them soon, they need to have appropriate time to find a temp waitress to take your place once you have the baby, and they might think you're purposefully hiding it from them and hold it against you. And they might have you do things that pregnant women really shouldn't do if they don't know you're pregnant. When I waited tables, I would have to help clean the grill and would occasionally burn myself, and carry those god awful heavy trays and you really shouldn't carry anything too heavy.
I would have said something after I got the offer but before starting. Let them know soon if you plan
On wanting to work there after.
