False negative??? Help!!!!!!

Ok so my fiance and I have been trying for a baby so I came off the pill at the end of March had a period in April and then again at the end of April - my usual cycle.

I've been off the pill before and since the week we had unprotected sex I've been feeling completely different, more noticable in the last 7-10 days.

Headaches
Dizziness
Light headedness
Sore boobs
Backache
Feeling sick
Constipation
Heartburn
Pain in upper right leg
Light pink watery fluid instead of period (started 2 days ago)

I've never had these symptoms before and took a pregnancy test earlier but i was's negative?!?!?! Could it be a false negative and mean I am pregnant????

I do have to point out I drink a lot of caffeine, would that affect the result???

Also, as I'm only due on today maybe it's too early to test???

What do you think??? I'm very confused lol xxx

I also suggest you take a good, sensitive, digital test. No "guessing" if you have a 2nd line with those.

Will do hun thanks, I do drink a lot of fluid during the day and have heard it dilutes your urine so I'll make sure on the day I do it first thing

I suggest you test again in about a week.  It could very well be too early.  Be sure to use first morning urine for the best results.

14 days after the first day of your period, i took a clearblue pregnancy test one night it was positive did one in morning it was negative, so i went the doctors and it wasn't just positive i had to go get a scan the following day and i was 23 weeks and 6 days, everything was fine, you are best waiting four weeks to do a test to be sure, i wish you luck

Thanks you two, I used a £3.99 one from Boots and bought another one from Superdrug which says I can take four days early, would it be too early to take it tomorrow morning????

It possible that it is to early. What brand did you test with? I would use a First Response early result test. They are supposed to be the most sensitive. There are times though that when we really want to be pregnant that our mind can make our body feel all the symptoms of being pregnant. So try the FRER and wait 2 days the hormone is supposed to double every 2 days. Best of luck and hope this is helpful.
