4 very well defined ovals on axial T1+gad brain MRI in the area of the right thalamus with slightly hyperintense centers with hyperintense ring at the level where the left and right thalamus just touch. I couldn't find a good example online of this finding. The closest I could see was MS rim lesions, which is consistent with symptoms and other findings, but didn't see similar examples in the thalamus or packed together as these are (towards the ventricle). I think they are about 5mm long x 3mm wide, but I need to measure to be sure. Any ideas? Also I'm new here, and don't know if there's a way to post pics. Thanks!
