MRI INTERPRETATION


Conus medullaris: Normal with termination at L1.

L1-L2: Disc bulge. Facet arthrosis. Ligamentum flavum hypertrophy. Mild spinal canal stenosis. Moderate left neural foraminal narrowing. Right neural foramen patent.

L2-L3: Disc bulge. Facet arthrosis. Ligamentum flavum hypertrophy. Mild spinal canal stenosis. No significant neural foraminal narrowing.

L3-L4: Disc bulge. Facet arthrosis. Ligamentum flavum hypertrophy. Mild spinal canal stenosis. Moderate narrowing of the right lateral recess. Mild left and moderate right neural foraminal narrowing.

L4-L5: Disc bulge. Facet arthrosis. Ligamentum flavum hypertrophy. Mild narrowing of the AP canal diameter, however there is moderate to severe narrowing of the right lateral recess. Mild left and moderate right neural foraminal narrowing.

L5-S1: Facet arthrosis. No significant spinal canal stenosis. Mild to moderate neural foraminal narrowing bilaterally.
