Ultrasound results
Can someone please explain to me my results. I'm having an MRI done in a month and just not sure what to make of these results. I'm assuming cancer but could it be other things as well? Here it is:
The myometrium is inhomogeneous. The uterus measures 10.3 cm in length. The endometrium is inhomogeneous in appearance. It measures 0.91 cm in thickness.
There is a solid inhomogeneous area of 1.8 cm in the right ovary. The left ovary is unremarkable. There is free fluid in the posterior cul-de-sac.
A bilobed, anechoic area is seen posteriorly within the pelvis. It shows no flow signal and it measures 3.6 cm. The possibility of fluid or the presence of a rectosigmoid loop could be considered.
