You are being called back to perform additional views to better evaluate abnormalities seen in the uppermost portions of your lungs, which can be obscured by overlying soft tissues and/or bones such as ribs or clavicles. Opacities on chest radiograph are nonspecific and can be due to scarring, cancer, and/or infection/inflammation, including but not limited to entities such as tuberculosis, sarcoidosis, and pneumoconiosis. CT chest may also be performed for further evaluation.
