Hello,
Although perspiration is basically odorless, it can take on an unpleasant smell when it comes into contact with bacteria on your skin. Most often, it's the bacterial breakdown of apocrine sweat that causes a strong odor.
Take regular baths and wear loose cotton clothes. Please avoid taking heavy fatty meal and eat nutritious, healthy food. If the smell still persists then please get yourself evaluated for liver or kidney disorders.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Thank you mam for your suggestions.I think i will go as quickly as possible for my body tests that u suggest me.
Thanx again.
I also have the same problem and what bothers me is that I don't even know how I smell. I am very meticulous with oral and body hygience and I think when I was younger I do not have this problem. I am 48 now and even if I use deodorant, body spray or perfume, it concerns me when those around me start touching their nose and sneezing. It kinda affect my productivity and my social life. Please help.
Hi,
How are you? If oral and body hygiene is not a problem, changes in the diet and complete medical work-up may help identify the possible cause of your condition. Additional tests is needed to rule out kidney or liver diseases. Consider also eliminating caffeinated drinks and foods with strong odors, such as garlic and onions in your diet. Check with your doctor for proper evaluation. Treatment will depend on the cause. Take care and do keep us posted.
