What is the meaning of laproscopic cholecystictomy?
The procedure uses a scope and a couple of tiny incisions and they push some tubes in and sort of lasso the gallbladder, and pull it out, encased in a little plastic sac, through the tubes. You just stay for like a 23 hour observation period and if there are no complications, you are discharged. A lot of laprascopic surgeries are done and that's one of them. S.
