Oh the memories. Dated a man who was the front man for a band back in the late 80's ----- one of those "hair bands" that were popular back then. Women everywhere and brazen as all get out. That was back in my cute days when I "worked" it as well as anyone and I'd plant myself in the front and he'd tell people he was my boyfriend . . . didn't matter. Women love the confidence and talent it takes to be a musician and it goes with the territory. The part that got me was that these were his FANS! He had to be nice to them and so did I. Whew----------- that was hard work!
Anyway, you do have to have a bit of a thick skin to date someone in a band/ musician.
You're right. I'm currently dating a man who moonlights as a musician (drummer) in a band. He isn't even the focal member in the group... it's just that he's in the group... and he gets attention. At times, that attention goes overboard and that can be a big ego booster for any man... especially, for a 57 year old man!
