Coughin'

For the second year in a row I have contracted these deep coughs that come in large doses.  I know from last year that i will soon blackout, so i drop whatever I'm doing and sit down.  Last year I was prescribed antibiotics, steroids, and an inhaler.  Knocked it right out last time.  This year, i was prescribed the same course of meds, and while I regained my voice, and the frequency diminished, I am still coughing to blackout.  Difference being instead of 4 or 5 times a day, it's 1 or 2 times ina week.  I have found that when it starts if i can suck in some air after two or three coughs, I end up a little light headed but don't blackout.  I would LOVE for a definite answer to what this is, and if left untreated what will it cause.  It's not so much scary as it is unsettling.

and seem to be increasing in frequency.  sometimes vommiting also.
Admitted in hospital for 5 days, doctors did all the testings till ct scan  but they did not find anything.
