Lung spots

I was just called into my doctor's office and she told me that my CXR showed two dark areas with multiple small areas in both lungs...also puenomia.  I've been feeling tried, dry cough and fever.  Currently treating my fever...I still feel tried.  I'm going for a CT Scan in two day...the wait is killing me? any advise or hope that it isn't the big "C".  No history of smoking, overall pretty healthy... I'm shock.  Please provide me some comfort...

What issues did the CT scan show?  Good luck with the PET scan.  Let us know the results.  Will be praying for you.

I too have these, but no pnemonia, and I smoked for 23yrs. the pulmonologist told me that pnemonia and chest infections cause these nodules, so hopefully and very statistacally, you are fine, just scarring from infection...did they say how big these are? Also, unfort, I quit smoking and still havent been sick or had infection and have 3 more nodules upon followup....keep me informed, we can get thru this horrifying wait together! good luck, ill be prayin for ya!
