Tight chest, shortness of breath. What could this be and I need a second opinion?

At the of April my chest started getting very tight. I had trouble breathing, particularly in the morning and evenings.

My doctor put me on prednisone for a week and then again last week on 8 tablets in the morning.

I'm using the prednisone, ashtavent and Foxair as well.

I struggle to talk for more than 10 minutes then I lose my breath and then my doctor did this test that said my lungs only function 67% because out of 430 they operate or whatever only 290.

Please I need an opinion on what this can be as they want to send me to a pulmonary specialist. I had asthma for years when I was younger and I'm only 25 now.

Please help.

P.s. Sorry about the bad medical language lol

Hi there. I have no idea but my doctor just let me blow into this little pump thing so that the line can move. She put me on the medication now for about 10 days and if it does not help, she wants to send me for more tests. I can already tell its not working because right now my chest is so tight I can't even talk.
You need to have a CT with contrast ( cta) to start with.  I'd go to your emergency room and get at least that done today.
Thank you. I do appreciate it. I'll get it done as soon as I'm able.
Keep me posted.  And feel free to pm me with personal questions.;)
Thanks again.
