Thump in y chest upon exhaling

Every time that I take a deep breath, I feel a thump deep in my chest.  It doesn't feel like my heart.  It feels like my lung is getting caught on something and then thumps whenever I reach a particular point upon exhaling.  It's at that same point every time that I breathe that it thumps.

There is no pain or discomfort when it happens, but it bothers me because I've never had that before.

I know this is an old question, but did you find out what was going on? I'm experiencing the exact same thing. Worried to say the least-I don't have a doctor at the moment.
