Do I have Herpes?

February 23rd I let my boyfriend of about a week give me Oral sex. It was my first time doing anything and I was very excited. He gave me oral and Fingered me. I thought it was nothing to worry about and 3 days later I thought I was having Pregnancy symptoms. I felt exhausted, cold at night, and my body aches all over. I don’t know if the body aches were from working, working out, or how rough he was being down there. So a few days go buy and my vaginal lips swell up. I start getting milky white discharge and I think that I miss my period. Time goes on I go to the doctors office and finally have my almost a week late period and I’m relaxed for a little bit. I get the depo and my body starts feeling all outta wack. I get these little bumps on my vagina and I feel as if it’s herpes. I’m freaking out. My step mom ( A nurse) thinks it’s just a Yeast infection so I put cottage cheese and tea tree oil. It’s helped with the swollen feeling I’ve gotten and has made me feel better but I still have these bumps. I’ve had a tiny sore on my vagina but it didn’t crust over so my step mom felt it was the result of me wearing tight clothes in layers.(Panty hose and tight jeans)I’m literally crying while writing this Help.

Oral sex exposes you to syphilis, gonorrhea and herpes. I don't think cottage cheese is the best option to treat yeast infections. The best option is always talking to your doctor and getting a cream to treat them.

Regarding the three infections I told you about, you should test as follows:
-3 weeks after the exposure, for gonorrhea,
-6 weeks after the exposure, for syphilis.
-3 months after the exposure, for herpes.

All the best.

Totally agree about the cottage cheese.

There are creams and even pills to treat yeast infections now, which is so much better than cottage cheese and tea tree oil (which can be helpful, but also really irritating).

Give your doc a call. You've had a lot at once - illness, new sexual activity, new birth control. It's not a wonder that your body is out of whack. Have your doc check you for yeast and see if she thinks anything looks like an STD. If you're on antibiotics for the respiratory infection, testing for gonorrhea and syphilis will have to wait until you've been off them at least a couple of weeks (though I'd be really surprised if it's either of those).

If you do have yeast, it may get worse if you are on antibiotics.

Hope you feel better soon!

I’ve also had a bit of lower back. Pain and felt sick but the doctor figured the sickness was an upper respiratory infection
