Actually in the Doctor`s forum on STDs there is a comment about Herpes immunity from our Doctors. Emma is correct in her information.
Emma_08 ... I liked your explanation but I would like to know what are the basis for your statement. Have any doctor endorsed what your saying? What is the source (i.e.: book, medical journal) where you got your info from? Thanks in advance!
Thanks for the reply, it was very helpful.

If she has oral HSV-1, she cannot acquire HSV-1 genitally, because her body has most likely produced antibodies that will protect her against future infection. Also, she cannot acquire HSV-1 genitally if you are only having oral sex - infection occurs at site of penetration. However, it's unlikely that your girlfriend would acquire genital HSV-1 from you even if you have intercourse (there's a small possibility, but it's not likely). Genital HSV-1 has less frequent viral shedding along with less frequent outbreaks. Hope this helps.
Best,
