If you are diagnosed with HPV but never have had any warts outside or around your genitals.  That maybe they are growing inside of your cervix and fall of during rough sex?

I dont know if she does an HPV test when she does my pap. But since I had only been with my husband (and I am pretty sure that he has not cheated on me) the last time it showed up abnormal does that mean that it is the same strain that made my pap appear abnorma 13 years ago is the same strain that made my last pap appear abnorma?

chances are good that if you had a hpv infection 13 years ago that it's cleared itself from your body from now and isn't an issue. Does your gyn do a hpv test along with your pap test?

No hpv doesn't effect hsv2 test results.

We currently do not have any commercially available tests for hpv in males in absence of obvious symptoms :(

I was told that I had abnormal pap  13 years ago and that it may be condyloma.  And since then I have had regular and abnormal paps thoughtout the years (But I had only been with my husband of 12 years).  Everytime I have an abnormal pap they retest me and everthing looks okay.  I just remember them telling me that it may have been condyloma but no procedure has ever been done and I have never had any warts outside.   The last one I received abnormal was about 2.5 years ago during my pregnancy.

Can HPV affect your HSV2 blood test?

How can you tell if a man has HPV if they have no genital warts?

It's possible that you have warts that are internal, but many times HPV does not cause warts.  So just because you have HPV does not mean that you must have a wart somewhere on your body.

Also, it's very unlikey a wart is going to "fall off."   However if you do have HPV you should notify your partners of that fact.

Sorry I dont think I asked it correctly previously

If you are diagnosed with HPV but never had any warts outside or around your genitals.  Could it be possible that maybe they are growing inside of your cervix or vagina and that they may come off and fall out during rough sex?
