Herpes testing question (Grace maybe you know this?)
I went to my Gynecologist asking for the tests that you recommended. She had not heard of them so she ordered that Quest assay test 17170. It didn't come up in the lab computer so they didn't draw my blood for the test. They said I can come back when I know if there is another name for it.
It's the herpes inhibition assay. That is the test number for it. They should call the quest lab they use directly about it if it's not in their computer.
