Need some help

My husband says that when we have sex there is an odor coming from me.  Also the other morning he said he was experiencing a burning sensation on his penis during intercourse.  He also has herpes. Would this have anything to do with it.  I mentioned to my doctor about the odor and she suggested monistate 7.  Could it be something else?

my husband says that when he goes down on me that sometimes my clitoris seems rough and chafed. He then tells me I have been masturbating without him, which I don't do! Please tell me why this is happening because I don't sense a change, he said he can only feel it with his tongue!

Did they test you for yeast and bacterial infections when you were in the ER?

I do already have an appointment and I went to the Emergency room yesterday for unusual bleeding.  the found nothing except a cyst on ovary.
thank you very much for your help.  I appreciate it.

Even if you did have hsv2, it wouldn't cause an odor but why not get tested to see if you even have to be worried about transmission at this point?

Frankly I'm appalled that your provider didn't ask you to come in and be seen and get some proper testing done. I'd make an appointment for further evaluation for this odor.

Actually it was only a phone consult and I have never been tested for hsv2.  My husband does not take anything but mangosteen juice.

Did your doctor test you for yeast and bacterial infections or was this just a phone consult?

I recommend getting properly tested. I fyou have bv, it actually increases your risk of contracting your husband's herpes.  Have you been tested recently to see what your own hsv2 status is? Does your husband take daily suppressive therapy to reduce your risk?
