That's what I've been trying to tell myself. Too much would have to have gone against-all-odds WRONG for this to occur. Don't know why I can't just push it out of my mind and move on, but it seems like every day I notice a new "symptom" that MIGHT be something. I'm sure they are all just manifestations of my anxiety, but it's difficult to shake. Thanks for your input.
Well, (long story coming) I posted here some time ago with worry that I might have contracted an STD from what was a very low-risk exposure (brief, indirect oral contact with vaginal fluid). My worries went from HIV, then to herpes/syphilis, then once I was convinced I didn't have those I finally worried I had oral gonorrhea. At the very least, I DID indeed have a strep throat (white patches on tonsils + minor soreness/difficulty swallowing) which my PCP diagnosed. While at the doctor for this, I explained my situation/worry and he basically reinforced what I'd read here: my exposure was an extremely tiny risk for ANY STD, but just to ease my mind he would treat me for the strep AND for oral gonorrhea ("...which you don't have," he added. He did not swab my throat, btw.) So he gave me an antibiotics injection and Azithromicyn pills (took 4 all at once), and it cleared up the strep symptoms almost right away. He said I should not be contagious after 48 hours from taking the antibiotics.
Fast-forward to 72 hours later, when I engaged in unprotected oral with GF followed by unprotected vaginal. In my anxiety-riddled mind, there is a possibility that a) I DID have oral gonorrhea, b) it did NOT completely clear after treatment, c) I passed it to my GF during cunnilingus, and d) I gave it back to myself genitally. (And of course, I'm MORE concerned that I gave it to HER, even though she has not mentioned any issues since.)
Yeah, I'm a mess. I think I worry too much, but does it seem like any of the above is even remotely possible?
It may at times be mixed it but it would happen at no specific time, so you notice it just whenever.
What makes you think gf would have gonorrhea?
Thanks. Well, tonight would be exactly a week. I urinated normally this morning. Would I necessarily be feeling burning/pain when peeing if discharge were present? And when you say "noticeable", would it be noticeably mixed-in with my urine, or would it appear separate from urinating?
It may start with just stains on underwear but within a week or so it is noticible.
