Should I be worried?

Saturday (9/1), a guy I'm dating and I were making out. Things went further than planned, we didn't have sex, but he fingered me and I gave him a hand job. When fingering me, he used spit for lubricant by spitting partially on me and partially on his fingers (his lips did not touch my vagina). Today (9/5), I noticed he had a fever blister (isn't that the same as a cold sore?) he said he got it last night. He did not have the cold sore/fever blister Saturday. Should I be worried about getting anything?? I'm really, really worried.

I missed the part regarding the cold sore that showed shortly after and I didn’t really touch on that, but without a oozing cold sore on the mouth rubbing directly on your genitals id say your risk is so low I’d call it zero

Spit isn’t a good mode for infection. It’s very good at killing bacteria, and even during viral shedding not enough of a virus is typically found for transmission of a STD virus. Additionally most STDs are found deep in the throat and require a vigorous rub to transmit. You have no STD concern
