Small mark/flesh spot on penis just in the opening of meatus

Hi,

I have a small flesh coloured mark just on my left side opening of the urethra. This is more noticeable when erect but not noticeable at all when soft and need to magnify to see or look hard.

It doesn’t hurt not inflamed almost the same colour as surrounding area when both soft and erect.

It’s been there for some time I am circumcised since childhood and have had operation so could this be a small scar from something?

I thought I just been a bit rough but after a number of weeks with nothing it’s not changed

Thanks in advance
Jack

This is probably nothing at all to worry about.  I'd ask your doctor about it at your next physical (which you should have annually) or next time you are there for something.  Here's an article that may shed some light:  https://www.urologyhealth.org/urologic-conditions/benign-(not-cancerous)-urethral-lesions  A simple little lesion is usually not a big deal and particularly if you have nothing else going on.  What about sexual activity?  Is it wart looking?  HPV?

Hi thanks

It doesn’t look wart like at all from what I’ve seen on informed medical sights

And not known a wart to increase in size between soft and erect from what I’ve read.

Basically when soft it’s difficult to notice and when hard appears.
Which makes me think it’s a scar/blood vessel
I would guess so.  Tell your doctor about it next time you see them but I would not worry.  Monitor for changes.
