Testicle Pain
So for about a month and a half I have had this annoying, dull achy pain in my left testicle. It is not exactly like if you get too excited and you get the pressure build up after a while. This has happended a few times before, seldomly, but lately its carried over day to day. Usually the pain goes away after a day or so. My right one is fine and does not bother me, it is only in my left. I know that some testicle pain can be cause by having an STD, or maybe from the testicle being twisted around a bit, putting a "kink" in the plumbing. I have noticed that my left doesn't seem to lay the same as I believe it normaly has and feels like it may be in a different rotation than the right. I really have no clue and am kinda freaking out a bit. Anyone have any thoughts?

Got to know ur symptoms abt the horrible testicular pain...I'am actually going thru similar phase and have most of the symptoms u have(or had , may be)...Am really very panicky and frustrated with the problems I had..
Initially started having pain on my left testis around 10 months back, and the same day evening/next day started experiencing left abdomen pain and nausea..I straight away met a Uro, and got the Scrotal doppler done, where they told its epididimo-orchitis, with epididymus & testis bulky..put me on antibiotics PERCIN and pain killer..slightly felt better (or really??), but after few days started experiencing pain in abdomen after sitting for long hours and the testis was very tender, and also noticed that I hardly get erection as I used to earlier...
Again got another round of Scrotal doppler scan, which reporetd resolving epididimytis, and CT scan KUB came fine..so started continuation of PErcin adn anotehr antibiotic taxim-O....took them for few days but tenderness and abdomen pain would still come very frequently..Met anotehr URo, and got the Semen culture, semen analysis, urine culture, urine analysis done,.all came fine..was put on doxycycline for many weeks and also Levoquin antibiotics..not great help actually...I also started noticing that there is a strange feeling like a pull from my abdomen to left testis, and could feel as though left testis is pulled up..also there is a strange urgency to pass the bowel movement, and just before I go for bowel movement, I feel a pull on my left testis, and after I go for bowel movement I feel slight comfort/(no pull) in the scrotal region ..at times I feel so tired with nauseatic feeling and not able to have proper food also..again got another scrotal doppler scan, which suggested chronic epididimytis, and continued with doxycycline and levoquin..
Also feeling no sensation around the testicular region and no proper erectiosn also..also have low back pain intermittently..
Anotehr scrotal doppler scan at a different place recently came out fine, and the URos are thinking am just imagining thinsg and there's no major problem..but I certainly am not in best shape, and life has becoem disgusting, not being able to have aphysical relationship with wife also..
So wANTED to get your inputs since u knw how am feeling..

The treatment you had actually does sound like STD treatment. The shot in the butt is typically for Gonorrhea and the pills for Chlamydia. That's the common and recommended treatment practice. I realize you had negative tests, so I'm guessing you had something that's not normally tested for like Mycoplasma or Ureaplasma, so the docs just tried antibiotics and it worked.

i had something similar. they tested me and negative results on everything. it could be something called epididymitis (sp?). Which can occur simply from walking a weird way or pulling something in your sack. If that is the case, they gave me a shot in the butt and some pills. Cleared up soon after that. It's not an STD so this may be what's causing your discomfort, but, I'm no physician
I have the exact same problem right now, its been like this since Oct 2007. about 4 months now. I've went to see Urologist, and many doctors. Did ultrasound, blood work, urin work, everythin I can think of so far. They found nothing!!.. I am very frustrated and don't know what to do. Please let me know what is happening with your situation, I'll keep you updated as well.
