What are the chances and looking for advice

First id like to thank you for addressing our concerns
My situation Happened after sex with hsv2 positive female. I found out afterwards because I got us tested. She is hsv2  positive igG was 15.50 I've tested negative exactly 13 weeks after exposure to hsv2. I have hsv1 for 25 years + so I kno it can slow down seroconversion a wk or 2 witch wld put me at 12 to 11 wk. We can say 10 wks negative. Wld that be a good sign. I've read someone get a low positive at about 16 wks and my anxiety and depression is bk full force. I almost felt good about the recent results. I used the herpeselect type specific. They say 99 % accurate at 4 to 6 wks. When clearly it's up to the person to make detectable antibodies. So how can they come up with those facts?

The funny thing is she's never had symptoms or nothing. I know because she was just as shocked, I guess you can say in a way I can tell. She's been in accidents and immune has been comprised. She's also had miscarriages. What's the chances. If you really want to count the day of exposure was about 14 wks and 5 days for the negative igG  and 13 wks from the last sexual exposure. Plus the irritated area is where the condom could not of covered. Its just abive where scrotum and shaft meet right on the median raphe line. Lotorim af gave me relief bit when i stop using it it comes bk. Its been going on for 2 n half months. I have hsv1 25 plus years so not to convinced either way about the results

I test negative at 14 to 15 wks. Does that seem like it's ok to let this go. Or should I retest at a later date? Thank u guys so much

I would let it go.

A nurse practioner I used to work with told men to use the antifungal meds for at least a week after symptoms have disappeared, so maybe try using the lotrimin consistently for a longer period of time.
I did the western blot at about 17 wks post exposure and according to Terri Warren 12 wks is the recommendation. I understand it's 99% accurate but isn't it up to the person to seroconvert. I also did an igG at the same time and both western blot and igG came back negative. Has anyone ever got a negative wb and later test positive on igg. I have a long standing hsv1 infection and if it slows seroconversion by a few wks I'm wondering if I'm doing these tests too soon. With a healthy immune system I would think afyer 17 wks id atleast get a low positive or equivocal result. Can i trust these tests? I just am nervous about the results being done too soon and not yet seroconverting. I've read people showing low positives at a later date. Like 8 months later and kind of bringing all the anxiety back.

Thank you guys I realized the burning sensation is actually coming from the median raphe under penile shaft above the scrotum. It came to be a month after exposure. Or I would of put it as a friction burn. I've read about split median raphe and it's not splitting just a little inflamed and giving a burning sensation.

Most first outbreaks occur within 10 days, the fact that there has been no outbreak and a negative test shows a promising outlook of you not acquiring hsv-2 from these exposures

That wouldn't be from herpes. That could be from inflammation in the prostate (totally unrelated to herpes or any STD in most cases). It might be time to get your prostate checked.

Hi Getting hsv2 from a single affair where she did not have any outbreaks is really close to zero and  testing negative t 13 weeks would confirm you dont have hsv2.

Thank u for your reply. It was actually a few encounters in a month span. If it wasn't for the burni g sensation on the median raphe line just above scrotum under shaft of penis. I'd be ok with the results. What worries the most is the seroconversion time having an established hsv1 infection. I plan to retest at 17 wks to be extra certain. As of now I'm trying to figure out the burning sensation and get some comfort. It appeared a month later or id of put it off to friction and now feels really irrited.
