Infection from Endoscopy?

I had an upper endoscopy done 2 days ago.

Do I have any risk for STD or other infection from this procedure?

Because it's something that is reused over and over again. Inserted inside of people.

I was concerned that it might transmit infection if not cleaned thoroughly.
