How long can a swollen lymph node stay swollen from STD infection?

10 months ago I was diagnosed with an STI infection. Had symptoms like burning sensation while peeing, Discharge and inflammed meatus. Went to the doc and he took a sample put it under a microscope and showed told me 'yep infection'. He gave me azithromycin and doxy with a shot of something. My symptoms dissapear within days but developed a swollen lymph node on my groin and under armpits. The ones under my armpits took months to go away, but i still feel like they are not completely gone. The one on my right hand side of groin is still swollem and tender moves around and uncomfortable even today. Tested negative for all stds at 6 months. What should I do?

You should talk to your doctor about it.
