Is there something wrong?

Hi, i just recently had an unprotected sexual experience and have been extremely anxious since. Its been over a week and i dont seem to have any bumps or lesions on my penis or have i had any discharge. The only thing that seems to bother me is the really slight sensation that i have to pee. I frequently drink water however and believe it could be due to that. Does this sound like herpes? or any other std? or could it be a urinary tract infection? it doesn't burn when i pee or even feel strange. I just seem to be mentally fixated on the possibility that there is something wrong could this just be anxiety?

I would suggest leaving it alone for a couple of days - no checking (unless you get some increased pains, etc), no looking, etc.

See if that helps.  Try not to even think about it.  Distract yourself.  If you don't notice it when you are busy, its anxiety.

ya... i dont show any other signs of herpes or anything else... this tip of my penis is a little raw but im sure that's because i have been trying to see if i have anything on it almost every hour. the whole situation is just stressfull and i seem to be one to stress about alot of things so im guess and hoping im just extremly stressing out and cause the feeling. I'm booking an appointment anyways just to be sure.. fingers crossed nothing serious.

well strange thing is that I am going through this same situation. its an odd like feeling in my groin. like warm feeling? hah its not irritated at all. I am just paranoid that I may have something. Best thing to do is to not think about the situation right now cause thinking you may have something is half the cause. hah. if you feel obligated and it persists, i'd say take a test.

It doesn't sound like anything, really.  All I can say is that if you are so concerned, get tested.
