Steph infection cause herpes?
I had my daughter and was kept in hospital due to a Staph infection. Is this in anyway related to herpes? Does a staph infection show up if you have herpes?
I am herpes type 2 positive. I have however believed that I caught this after I gave birth but just thinking back because I had this staph infection when I gave birth could I have had herpes then cause of it? Is it in anyway linked?

Hi no they are not linked. also its amost certain you were tested for herpes during your pregnancy as i believe its mandatory.

Hi I checked with my midwife and they said they don’t test for it here in the uk
