Do I have an STD or am I just being paranoid?

Approximately 10 days ago, I had brief unprotected sex with someone for the first time... we had had protected sex beforehand and afterwards, this was a few moments unprotected in the midst of protected...
About three days later I started to experience flu-like symptoms. Sore throat, fatigue, fever of 100.4.
I took over the counter medications for several days (Nyquil, Dayquil, various vitamins, Theraflu etc...) and most of the symptoms subsided over the following week. I still have a slightly sore throat, but nothing near as bad as it was at its worst and the fatigue has gone away... not sure on the fever, I still feel a little warm, but have been unable to take an accurate temperaturein a few days.
Also: Over the course of this (which is at about 1 full week at this time) I had two days where I had mildly painful urination. 5 days of no pain in urinating, and two (not back to back) where I did... The only variable I noticed was both days that I did have this discomfort- they were the two days AFTER I had taken Theraflu the previous day, so I am not sure if that was somehow involved or if my kidneys or digestive system just did not like the Threaflu or what... At this (Tuesday) time, I have not taken Theraflu since Friday and have had no discomfort in urinating since Saturday.
Also... In the past 3 days I have noticed a small red blemish on the head of my penis. It is not sore or tender that i notice and there is no discharge, but it is definitely there. And I also found what APPEARED to be a large whitehead pimple on the skin under the hair in my pubic region.

Again, these all may be things that are totally innocuous and unrelated that all happened to converge on me at once... or could they all be related symptoms to an STD?

Please help.

Thank you...

Probably but can't say for sure.

Well a friend has told me that the uncomfortable urination could have been a mix of the meds and dehydration from the flu, especially since it came and went...
And also that the pimple like thing in the skin under my pubic hair sounded like an ingrown hair.
And that the red spot/discoloration on my penis was probably nothing since it was not painful or secreting anything.

So I think maybe I was just being paranoid about a bunch of unrelated things that all came on at once?

All I can suggest is to see a Dr if concerned.

I never would have thought or assumed it either... based just on the flu symptoms... but after close to a week of that (and being immediately after the enounter) added to the two days (though split... not back to back) of slightly uncomfortable urination... and then the red blemish on the head of my penis and the whitehead/pimple like thing on the skin of my pubic area... it all added up to serious concern.

I see nothing that would make me think this has anything to do with a STD.
