Mild irritable sensation at the top of my penis

I know this Q has been asked a few times but when I read the topic there's never an ending and the person asking doesn't provide an ending.

About 4 weeks ago I had unprotected oral sex with a girl (only received, didn't give). Few days later I got a mild but annoying feeling at the top of my penis. No burning when I pee. No discharge. No bumps or sores. I went in and got tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea twice and it came up negative twice.

I am worried it might be herpes but my doctor doesn't believe it is. I seeked out an alternative medical consultation and they too think it is not herpes. But I'm extremely stressed out by it. I made an appointment with a clinic next week and I hope they will test me for herpes.

Has anybody who has experienced this had any conclusion to the problem?

What annoys me is my doctor and other medical staff I dealt with seem very nonchalant and slightly dismissive about my problem.
