Risk of STD/HIV Transmission???

I grabbed my earphones to my Ipod and noticed that there was a small amount of blood on it. I thought nothing of it and wiped away the blood with my hand...I figured someone had used my earphones and brought them back because they weren't in the usual place. Anyways, I thought nothing of it and maturbated...touching my penis and urethra with my fingers. My urethra is currently red and swollen and inflamed a bit and may contain cuts and sores...what is the probability of catching an STD or HIV through this instance? I don't think the blood was fully dry. Please help :( I may just be over-reacting.

Also I was tested about 4 weeks ago for everything, and all came back negative. However; before the blood tests I drank a Monster Energy Drink (could this alter the testing) or not???

Energy drinks, nor any drink that I know of alters std testing.  I find it hard to believe that you masturbated with blood that was still wet on your hand. And you didn't know where it came from?  Didn't you say you wiped it off? You are way over reacting.

You need a bit of std education so I am going to give you a basic fact.  Please do not read more into it because it really is not that complicated.

Std's are transmitted from significant fluid transfer or skin to skin contact.  HPV, Herpes, and syphilis are the ones that are transmitted from skin to skin contact.  Gonorrhea, chlamydia, Hepatitis, HIV all require prolonged sexual contact in which body fluids go from vagina to urethra or urethra to vagina. A few seconds is not going to do it.  Exposure to air kills them within minutes.  You should read up on them from cdc.gov, ashastd.org, and there is even some information on the different std's on MedHelp.

You have already had negative std testing.  Please use condoms from now on to avoid any further unwarranted paranoia of std's.  You have posted many times and are clearly reading too much into this.  At this point you have a bigger problem with anxiety than you do std's.  You should try to seek therapy.  Continued excessive posting can get you banned from MedHelp.  It is explained in the "Please read before posting" sticky at the top of the forum.  Continuous "what if" questions are not going to help you any.  Keep it simple and you may find it easier to deal with.
