Best time window to get tested after a risky contact?

Dear doctors,

After 3 days I had unprotected oral and protected vaginal sex with a sex worker in Europe. Today I visited my doctor and she said (I'm quoting here) "I should be 99,9 % okay". Said no tests are needed and if I see any symptoms I should come again. I'm not a doctor but I was a bit surprised by this comment because I had unprotected oral sex both active and passive. I decided to test myself in a private laboratory but I don't know what is the best time window or to put it differently how soon can I get a general STD test with reliable results?

I know that chances of getting HIV are almost non existent so I'm talking about other STD's that can be transmitted during oral sex.

Thank you for having this forums and for helping out people in need. To some it means more than you can imagine!
