High risk??? Worthwhile?

I am a male who experienced many incidences of cancer when I was between the ages of 20 and 35. I am middle aged and single now and taking care of an elderly parent with dementia. This recent situation does not afford me much free time, so I recently went for a one hour massage to relax. The massage  starts in what seems to be a very clean tiled room. I lie down on a vinyl table, and the masseuse pours warm water from a plastic bucket over me, and then soaps me up and rinses me with water from a shower head. I believe she uses a sponge during the soapy stage.  I then get towel dried and we go to another room for the massage and happy ending.

I'm wondering if this puts me at high risk for an STD such as herpes, or if the risk of methicillin- resistant staphylococcus aureus is high. Is there anything I can do to lower risks? Should I just stop gong there? I read some articles about the importance of touch, and this became my rationalization for getting this massage.

Thank you in advance for your kind advice.

I agree.  If the happy ending was her masturbating you, you can't get an std.  You might get an infection like MRSA, but you can get that anywhere.

And yes, touch is important, but you can get that touch from a regular masseuse, not one who specializes in the happy ending kind if you are concerned about infections.
