Pain while urinating

I am married.  I believe I have a UTI,  some pain when urinating, some mild I think bladder pain
I visited a friend ( female )  we kissed and she gave me oral 6 for maybe 3 minutes.
Im afraid maybe o got something from her?  I am afraid to go to my doctor as I don't want my wife finding out.
From what I've read its unlikely that I could have gotten anything from receiving fillatio. Im hoping this is totally unrelated but this is my problem .  Any advice will help. I feel I need to go some sort of doctor but id think I need to do this in full confidentiality if that's possible. I live in the state of CT.

I answered this in Men's Health - https://medhelp.org/posts/Mens-Health/possible-uti-after-oral-/show/3053698#post_14472704

mkh9 had a good idea about the test strips. You can start there if you want.

Thank you for the suggestions.  I received cipro for the uti.  Same day i went and had a 10 panel  sti  test done.  All negative excepte for HSV 1  which i knew i most likely had from a test i did many years ago.

No ghonnoria  or  clymidia which is was worried about.

My wife had hsv  before we met so not much worry.

No more risk ever again.
Thanks for the update. I hope you're feeling better soon.

The cipro might make you feel worse before you feel better, but hang in there!
Great that you were negative.

Hi, and sorry you are having this problem. Well, it is possible it is a urinary tract infection. If you don't want to go to your regular doctor you can pay cash at any doctor outside your system.  You can tell them you don't have insurance. You can also buy with cash a UTI test strip at any pharmacy store like Rite Aid or CVS etc. These will check for white blood cells (leuckocyte esterase), and nitrate etc. So if it comes up positive you can ask for a culture and tell them your UTI test strip was positive. You will probably be retested for that and if positive for a culture.  It is rare to get anything else but I would be honest with the doctor and tell the person you had oral with a stranger.  They can decide what is the best testing to do. Ask them to keep it confidential and don't share test results with other doctors etc. They are bound by HIPPA to keep your results confidential.
