Still No Answers
So it now has been almost 9 months past my one time protected sex encounter with a stripper, ever since that night I have had nothing but issues. I thought I was exposed to HIV because i had flu symptoms, fever, dry cough, swollen lymph nodes in the neck, tingling and burning on the penis and a little bit of redness. I took many HIV and std tests which all have come back negative except for one HSV - 2 IgM type specific test, My IgG was negative for HSV 2 though, this test was taken at 5 months past exposure. I came to this sight to get some info and found out what a terrible test the IgM test was, so I then retested with just an IgG HSV 2 another month later which came back negative again. I dont know what is going on with my body,my doctor had me believing it is herpes. I've had nothing but issues i never thought herpes could do this or any other type of STD except maybe for HIV which has always come back negative, even after 6 months. My symptoms that I have had are blurred vision, headaches, loss of strength, muscle twiching and leg aches, butt and anus issues, hair follicilitus on my theighs, burning feelings in my hands, itchy scalp, little random bump/scab on my scalp, swollen gums, neasua, tingling, redness, discomfort, and minor discolor on the head of the penis. My life has not been the same ever since that night. I know my risk was low being a one time encounter and it was 100% protected and it only lasted maybe 5 mins. I dont know where to go anymore, I've had a cat scan done, an MRI done, all kinds of blood work done, No one can help me out. Im only 24 years old and never had stress or any kinds of health issues in my life. I've never been the type to worry about any little thing, but this time after the incident i felt burning and tingling on my penis and its been hell ever since. Anyone else out there have a similar issue or any kind of advice to what this could be? I just want to be cured again. Please help I've seen so many doctors and they all think im crazy but im not.
This all had happened right after that sexual encounter, that's how I know its some type of std or infection down there. If my body produces IgG antibodies for hsv 1 would that mean that I should produce antibodies for hsv2? You know my situation with having two negative igg tests for hsv2. They were taken at 20 and 25 weeks after the encounter.
we've given you advice in the past but yet you still continue to doubt it and think this is a std causing all your symptoms. Honestly nothing else we can add. You need to continue following up with your providers as needed as previously recommended. time to stop thinking std's as a cause of all of this!

You need further medical evaluation for these symptoms because they are not std related.
to be honest dude i had a same problem. its mostly in your head. anxity can do this to you if you keep thinking about it. i took anti stress peels and after a while it went away. if you were negative for everything then tests cant lie. just relax.
Anyone have any advice? Should i retest for HIV even though I took one at 6 months and it was negative. What else could this be? Swelling in the gums, penis pain with some discoloring and minor swelling, finding little random hair follicles on my head, thighs, blurred vision, headaches, dizzyness, muscle twitching, itchy scalp and anus, itchy skin. Please help doctors just aren't getting the job done.
What else do you recommend I do? My gums are swell every other day in the back, my head has been all messed up, I wake up dizzy and feeling light headed through out the days. Ive tried doxy, diflucan, surpex. I dont know what else to do.
I didn't mean to say "nagging" as in you, sir, but nagging as in your symptoms.
I'm not the type to nag about any little thing, this has been non stop issues ever since. I've had sex with other women and never felt anything like this and never looked into STD's because didnt have issues after. Something is up...
I do not think there is anything that could be nagging you. You had a protected affair and thus no risk. I cannot explain what may be happening to you so I suggest you get these symptoms checked out.
