Is there anything that presents symtoms immediately?

After having more vigorous sex than I'm recently accustomed to, my wandering mind got the best of me.  We're talking about minutes after fooling around, and I convinced I had something.  Now, almost a week later, really nothing has presented itself.  No discharge, doesn't burn when I pee, etc.  However, there's some redness around the pee hole.  Now, this could very well be because I'm "inspecting" it every time I go to the bathroom because I'm spooked, and stupid.  Anyway, in the end I see myself going and actually getting tested.  But, the logic side seems to tell me that nothing would rationally show up that quickly, and it's all in my head.  Opinions?

Since you are concerned, why not get it checked out?  That would be a lot easier than just worrying and waiting for it to get worse or something.

I have for the most part, and it seems relatively the same.  No discharge, no fever, just some irritation at the actual hole.  No burning pee.  A long time ago I contracted chlamydia and had the typical discharge and burning pee, horrible night sweats, and that was about five days after.  Doc gave me the one time zithro and was fine after that.  I remember some irritation around the hole, and am probably just letting my mind get the best of me and seek that out.  Although, I recall it being far more swollen and red than this.  I realize that there's different strains, just like anything, but I would assume I would get the same symptoms.

Nothing would show up that fast except maybe an allergic reaction to something.

Why not leave it alone for a few days and see what happens?
